This is first time in my life I see something like that.
My 370DLE, purchased as NOS (with smell of new stuff included), that I used with a pci to pcie adapter with hd5570 gpu suddenly died.
No strange symptoms, no signs, nothing.
Today I push the button and no power at all.

I tried replacing the PSU, swap the CPUs, pull out of the case, tried both atx connections, used a psu with the 6pin old aux connector.
Nothing.
No power, no fans spinning, nothing… No smell of burnt thing around.

I really do not know what to say, not even know what to ask as it is really a weird occurrence…

Here some pictures, but I inspect it, I see nothing.

Remove everything and check for shorts, then check the voltage of the mosfets.

Thanks, I was thinking of doing this as I did all I could do without a multimeter.
Even if I would find any short, I could not go further (no expertise or chance to learn and do anymore, my autistic son takes the most from me).
Probably it is better if I send it to someone with good will and time to fix.

Maybe change the CMOS battery? My ASUS P4T-E didn't turn on without an working CMOS battery.

Not sure if it was that or my extensive cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, but the thing started again!
Thanks

Some older mainboards require an working CMOS battery. Glad you got it working again 😀

Socket 478 totally sucks.
