I got myself a nice Dell 425s/L 486 machine in very good clean condition and works well, it has 640KB base memory and 3 MB Extended so my next step is to upgrade the RAM to 8MB.

The only RAM modules I have on hand are 32MB sticks which might be too much for some old games to work... would 32MB RAM be too much for games like Wing Commander and Theme Park?

I have a Sound Blaster card CT4180 which I know works and I have tested it in my WIN95 Machine which worked right out of the box but isn't working / not detected in my 486 so I am just wondering what I need to do?

Thanks.
