Not exactly broken, just wear and tear thing.....

It seems that the plastic part which secures the lever is broken. You can make one with double epoxy, apply a small dot with a match.

There are some solder down clips, for custom edge connectors and such, contacts... I am thinking if you've got ground plane right beside the socket you could cut pin off and surface solder something like that right next to it to mash the lever into.
Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
