Howdy folks. Working on a Thinkpad T30 that I'm struggling to find two drivers for, specifically my question here is the wireless card one, but I'll list both of anyone has any clue to either.
Lenovo hosts some old drivers and while some of them worked, none worked for my specific card.

I'll leave some photos of what windows 2k sees it as but I'll type it out here if that helps anyone, specifically I'm looking for w2k compatible drivers but I'm told XP possibly helps.

TOSHIBA Wireless_LAN_Card PCMCIA\TOSHIBA-WIRELESS_LAN_CARD-ED57\1

PCI Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2486&SUBSYS_02231014&REV_02\3&61AAA01&0&FE
^i believe this to be the modem, not super needed but would be nice

I tries googling both 8086 2486 and a combination of ED57 in Google with a few different words thrown in there but I get various results.

On the pictures attached you'll see its a agree systems brand and I tried googling what seems to be that things model number but i could only find it for sale, not drivers.

Thinkpad T30 with Wireless and a Modem. The wireless card is an Agere mpcI3a-20/r from the label.
Dell and a few others used same (HP did for a brief time). The Dell Latitude C600 series used same....
Did you try the drivers at LaptopVideo2Go in their Forum ?
Sorry cannot help much ATM but will do some searching for the wifi driver.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

I actually did try one dell inspirion 100 drivers that claimed to be using the same device but those didn't work, I'll try looking for the one you mentioned, thanks!

A little digging at the Lenovo website https://download.lenovo.com/eol/index.html . Go Laptops & Tablets then Thinkpad T series then Thinkpad T30. Gives you all the drivers archived.
Bluetooth and modem
gave me a Lucent AMR Modem driver 1oma23ww.exe with this line in the .inf:
[Agere_Modems]
%INTEL_AMR.Modem% = INTEL_AMR_SA.Modem, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2486&SUBSYS_02231014
that matches your ID string

this site also has the files archived:

readme: http://ps-2.kev009.com/pccbbs/mobiles/1oma23ww.txt

Ok the FCC ID on CJ6PA3171WL does point to Toshiba: https://device.report/dynabook/pa3171wl
Looks like it was in the Tecra 9000, Maybe IBM contracted Toshiba to supply the Wireless or someone swapped it out ??....
From Tosh Dynabook archive got these. The drivers INF do list the TOSHIBA-WIRELESS_LAN_CARD-E5D7:
Toshiba Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 2000. Version: 1.09.106 | Size: 501K. p4kwlan2.exe
Toshiba Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 98SE. Version: 1.09.106 | Size: 446K. p4kwlan8.exe
Toshiba Wireless LAN Driver for Windows XP. Version: 1.10.107 | Size: 378K. t9kwlanx.exe

Zipped all them up and attached. If the Win2000 driver does not work then you need to supply more info....good luck
