Just curious what people think about things, and not just PC games, either.
I'll go first: Star Blazers (Apple II). After struggling mightily to bomb that stupid tank, and then destroying HQ... all it says is "Good job".
What could be worse than that?
Dark Planet doesn't even give you that much. When you finish the last mission it shows the stats like it did for every mission then goes to the main menu.
Xenon 2 by the Bitmap Brothers (PC). At the end, you only see A WHITE DOT on screen.

The Xenon 2 ending is kind of funny, though - it's the screen being turned off. btw did you ever try the Bitmap Shades? Most expensive item in the shop, and... (well, if you haven't tried it, I won't spoil the surprise).
Eye of the Beholder 1, just 1 line of text saying you finished the game then drop to DOS.
I have heard that they tried to save money by leaving off the ending cinematic which would have required another disk, figuring very few people would make it to the end. The Amiga version released later included it. If you want to see how it should have ended, it's on youtube.
Yep. PC version hasn't got that finale.

Broken Sword 4 for me.I had expected something epic and it turned out to be very VERY lame.
Probably easier to make a list of games with great endings since endings are usually fairly mediocre 😀
