I'm trying to find out when was the first Windows beta, sent to a closed group of beta testers (preferably).
Of course, being at beta stage doesn't necessarily mean pushing the software out for beta testing as it could have been done in house.
I tried this one Windows betas website
But with no real answers, except that Windows 1.0 had a beta that was never released.
