Hi guys. I'm looking for a Dune II remake / clone (like Dune II Legacy) with multiple unit selection (the only thing that bugs me about the original) that will run on a retro-PC under DOS or win9x. Is there such a thing?
No, because often, the common use of new libraries like SDL, newer high-level languages and interpreters (for the sake of portability), and even newer compilers would stunt the application of playing an old game reimplementation on a 5th (or less) generation PC.

Same way i really wated to play Warcraft, but first i got to play Warcraft 2, and never understanded why they did not upgrade the Warcraft One mouse interface. Same goes with Dune 2, versus CnC and Dune 2000.
I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.
