Start your own wiki? Make a page for each game, with a concise description, stating what it runs on, and if there are any issues with it.
Is this too much voodoo?

Yeah, should be fine.

There are too many of those already (PCGamingWiki, MobyGames). I'm trying to take a different approach. Being on a spreadsheet means you don't have to search multiple pages for different games. You could sort by title or year and get all information for all games with no page flipping. Being shared, any Vogon member could contribute to it.
The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.
