I just find the windows built-in one completely dumb...
It is capable of doing anything.
But just way too unintuitive.....
Could you recommend any?
Thanks
Jack

My dad uses this one: http://thomasokken.com/free42/
But I can't tell you how good it is, I just know he uses it because he's a total RPN nerd.

You might consider Microsoft Mathematics (it's free):

Good one. Will try the Android version - looks really good. I still have the original of course 😉

I liked the XP Powercalc, but apparently it is not so easy to install in Windows 7.
so what is even desirable when it comes to calc? i kinda always was a bit lazy and went straight to python
I use pcalc, but I think it's only for IOS and MacOS.
On Windows 7 I copy the old calc.exe from an XP computer and put it on the Windows 7 desktop.
A Casio fx-85SA.
I use reality and a Sharp DAL.

AFAIK Vista's calculator has better precision while still looking like XP.
