Hello everyone,

just found something interesting again..

http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/rozelle-home-renova … 715-gxc0p0.html

Also have a look at the Technology paragraph.
This letter was written with a 486 laptop and a Canon BubbleJet. 😉

I also did something like that on 1995 (February). I was only 12 but I wrote a letter about that days news, the girl I was in love with it on school, I didn't mention the PC specifications, I typed it to my Tulip AT 386DX25 (4MB RAM, 528MB HDD) Dos 6.22 and Windows 3.11, I think on Word 2.0 or Professional Write, printed the page to the Star LC-20 dot matrix printer and I put the letter with an envelope inside the wardrobe between the wooden upper plate and a wall edge. I don't know today had happened to the letter because I left that house on 2001.

Yep. To pull one of George R. R. Martin's many overused and regurgitated phrases, he's "not wrong", mostly.

I too used to have a "PC MIA" slot. I don't know where it is to this day. 😉
