I don`t save such things so i don`t have the pictures i have seen before. Still there was a number of very dirty, nasty and disgusting mostly keyboards and some mouses.. I don`t know how that people let the keyboards and mouses get so dirty, there is ton of human dirt on them from dirty fingers, and they sell this s**t for bigger amounts of money without even taking a minute or 2 to clean them with some soap at least... Or computers that some idiots did put pots with flowers on them, and you can guess what damage the water did to the case, and some time even the hardware inside.......

But i have some others like some nab did buy new PC, and he did not know where to put the thermal paste, and he did slap it on the socket and put the CPU on top 🤣... Or some very dirty computers that have dist + nasty smoke from cigarettes, but that is how things are nasty dirty people...

No, please post pictures or links of people trying to sell such filth on their retro gear. This is supposed to be a place to laugh at eBay and ridicule silly eBay sellers or weird auctions that may or may not be part of money laundering operations.

(No, I don't think this is off topic. Anything requiring the buyer to don a hazmat suit is imo overpriced by definition, unless you want bacteria for your doomsday cult.)

Is there some rule that states an internet forum will have at least one of these types at any one time? I swear that as soon as one moves on then another one steps in to keep the disruptive nonsense coming.

Life? Don't talk to me about life.

Pointing it out is also being disruptive.

Yes. They have a team so they can tag in a mate if they want a break.

You know I tell myself that the reason I keep coming to this forum is for the knowledge but I cannot hide it anymore, really is gdjacobs' posts! Hahaha 😀

How about GeForce 256 32mb SDR? You can pay like it's 1999 (almost):

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

I'm not sure what the Apple Lisa hype is all about: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Original-Apple-Lisa-1 … N8AAOSwnw9aTCal

Over 5k now and still more than 2 days to go 🤣

This is just an ordinary Lisa 2. It could indeed be the case that it once was a Lisa 1, but because the twiggy drive is missing, it shouldn't go for Lisa 1 money.

I've had a couple of these Lisa's in the past, sold them all eventually, but never got more than 1400 or so (just a couple years ago) for a working '83 one with Profile hard disk and accessories (such as original documentation and software). I guess I should have kept them! 😊

Plus $137 for shipping. Insane.

Yes. I think it is related to maintaining a certain equilibrium. If there was no antagonist, one would excitedly discover this forum and not be able to resist their urges. Certain people live for conflict or getting a rise out of people, sort of like how many women get high on shopping for shoes. If there are too many antagonists, then the antagonist will move onto a more peaceful forum where they can really "shine" again. There will always be this type of balance, so it is a mistake to think "if only that one user were gone for good" - there will always be another.

Audician 32 -- someone seems to think that now that these all vanished from ebay just 3 months ago that the price is to be inflated 130%. Now with "Vintage" tag !

Ouch. There is no shortage of greed on eBay, that's for sure.

I found this surprising, an "as-is" Creative 3D Blaster VLB CT6200 is going for $455 and the price continues to climb. https://www.ebay.com/itm/122964246786

Full of misleading information: fully operational, As-is, money back guarantee, no returns, AGP format.
