I was reading the Washington Post just now and saw the story about a bunch of CRT TVs being left on the doorsteps in a Richmond neighborhood. There are a few videos about it on YouTube. I thought the security cam footage was funny. A few people seemed to freak out. The sad part is that the police will probably take those nice old CRT TV sets to a recycling center. I wonder if they worked. Anyway, RIP TVs.

Here's a video some kid made of the incident. It's a bit dorky, but it tells the story.

Disclosure: I live nowhere near Richmond and had nothing to do with incident or the video.

It'd be pretty great to just have someone leave you a nice Trinitron on your doorstep.
