Got this in over the weekend to run on my i3 sys but was not to be. Requires Steam install/login which is not gonna
happen since don't have internet at home. This sucks, wasn't aware at all this game was steam dependent since
it came with (2) discs I mean why bother?

This is why I prefer the older games. I'm planning on changing my phone plan to unlimited data where it can used
as a hot spot then I can probably get it to work. Anyone know of any work arounds to this?

Yeah, I got caught by that buying a physical copy of Duke Nukem Forever. Never going to make that mistake again and is why I swore off borroware over a decade ago. Haven't missed it a bit. Vote with your wallet.

I already had a copy of Pinball Construction Set, but not in this awesome LP style packaging. Just couldn't stop myself.

@Standard Def Steve - Beautiful! My bro and I each owned that game in that packaging back in the day. Me on the Apple IIe, like you've got, him on the Atari 800XL. Packaging made all the difference back then. Infocom also had incredible packaging and feelies.

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

Steam is a "blooming" headache, probably that has to do more with my inexperience with it. Downloaded steam on my i3 sys
but took forever to get their security protocols to make sense so it could be cleared with my phone instead of email. Anyways
all that trouble and was able to play AvP "offline" no problem. Oh well the end result is all that matters.

Speaking of Pocket PC, my copy of SimCity 2000 for Pocket PC arrived from the US. I'm interested to see how it plays on the old iPAQ.

Forgot to post pics since it arrived.. Doom for Pocket PC. I had been looking for a copy for about 2 years, it's pretty difficult to find. I found it on Amazon -- the first time I purchased it, the seller said it was damaged beyond use and canceled the order, then a week later they emailed me and said they found a brand new copy. This is it:

Man, that Pipe Mania box looks like a plumbing survival horror game from the looks of that screaming head.

Never played F-15 III despite playing the hell out of II on the Amiga. Is it good?

It had great graphics for its time and depending on who you're asking you'll receive a plethora of different opinions. Some call it too action-oriented, others describe it as too much of a simulation. I remember it had good reviews back then but no outstanding ones. Falcon 3.0 is considered the better and more realistic simulation but falls behind technically.
