In speaking of Hexen II how about Hexen II? You get a horrible naked guy with a convenient winged snake who doesn't appear in the game. Portals has Succub...i mean Demoness nude with one because sex cells. and is somewhat misleading because she's a clothed demonic Xena expy you can optionally play.

I'm guessing they got that idea from seeing a Jungle 2 Jungle billboard ad with the nude Tim Allen w/ snake which was promoted earlier in the same year, which was obviously a rhomage to something else I can't seem to recall right now. but yes. i was saddened it wasn't following the theme of COOL DARK LENS FLARE HANDS ACOLYTE or something similar to Brom

Interesting that two different Apple sound devices have Picasso-styled art.

My uncle has always been an illustrator for newspapers/magazines/books/websites/etc. and definitely was making similar artwork around the same time period, I can ask him what the hell they were thinking 😁

I know I posted a web image of the Mockingboard box, but I have to make the time to take a real photo of the one I have. 😀 It's very cool. I even have the receipt stuffed inside from 1985 when we bought it. Sad that the Mockinboard itself is probably in a landfill or recybled 🙁
