I think it's likely that Epic detected the install from another launcher and then shows it as installed. So not a dupe.

Mobygames entry says it initially was commercial, but is free now. (whenever this changed)
Steam does not list the base game as temporary free, just free? (the DLC:s are payware)

(There are some changes in the specs, like number of players: 4 initially ->6 now.)

There are so many (tons of) free(indie) games online.. Gaming is better att old times when not so much game around..
