Finished Wing Commander 2 on one of my DOS PCs today. I originally beat this game when it was released. It was just as fun going through it again over 20 years later.

Just finished Wing Commander 3. Last WC I can play in DOS. 🙁 My copy of WC4 is from GOG, so looks like I'm moving to XP for that.

Cool. I think the GOG version uses DVD video, so not all bad.

Going to be reviewing each game I finish from now on, gives my game playing a bit more structure and an incentive to finish things.

Enjoyed the review and agree with it. I've never finished Unreal, but I have played about half way through a couple of times. Cool sound effects and music! I remember the hair on the back of my neck standing on end the first time I heard that deep sound the Nali make when they are meditating.

Yeah, looking forward to that. The WC3 I played in DOS came from GOG.com too. Burned the image to DVD, then copied the entire DVD to the hard drive and played off of that. It was 1.8GB, so it nearly filled its own partition. 😀 No such luck with GOG.com's WC4.
