Actually, I like the box and it's Amiga. You can't go wrong. Could you take a photo of the back and inside?

Co-worker was cleaning out some old stuff from his parent's house and gave this to me. I gladly accepted. It pays to talk about your hobbies at work.

This was just released today in digital download format. Physical copy coming soon. Instant purchase for me. Probably will play it in VICE. Amazing looking game for the C64.

That reminds me that I'm still waiting for the physical releases of Sigil and Ion Maiden to be shipped. Can't wait.

Playing Navy Strike; an obscure game I just bought

Postby Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman » 2019-5-21 @ 07:36

Navy Strike, which also happens to be one of the lesser-known games in my possession. Do you have rare or obscure games you would like to tell us about?

Image
The game just arrived today.

Image
Unboxing the game.

Image
After removing the shrink wrap. The box is still glossy nonetheless, though.

Image
When it goes to cover art, I actually like the back cover better.

The manuals and key reference card.
Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....
Say no to online installer.

Wicked sick! Banging my head to buckethead too :P

Oh man this is loads of fun. In case anybody gets confused with the doom_shreds.wad on a modern windows, hold control and left click sigil.wad and sigil_shreds.wad, drag and drop it onto GZDOOM. Make sure the regular doom.wad is in the folder. Then you can play in buckethead heavy metal glory!!

There's also COMPAT versions, so I'm guessing that would work on a vanilla engine. Have to break the 486 out and see!

Beautiful box. Still waiting for mine to arrive. In the meantime two copies of NfS Porsche found their ways to my doorstep. I ordered a second copy as I mistakenly assumed the first one is gone after over two weeks of waiting. So... yeah... guess I'm the owner of two copies now... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Heh, how much did you pay for them? I wouldn't mind some NFS games.

Just beat Sigil. It was really good to say the least. Oh how I wish he made a full 3 episode game. It definitely felt like episode 5 (with epic heavy metal music if you pay the sigil_shreds.wad)

Great stuff BeginnerGuy! Love the retailbox :). I played Sigil today, too. Liked it a lot!

Sigil won't run on the original DOS Doom. Even the 'Compat'-WAD is too complex.

Very nice.
Porsche is probably still my favorite NFS game although pretty much all of the NFS games are super fun.
