"Every single revision 3dfx V5-6000 ever made, a Voodoo Volts load testing board and Rampage for good measure."

I like the one with eight fans! 🤣

I prefer the one at top with the four larger fans and custom heat sinks 😀

I prefer the one with eight VSA-100 instead of four. 😉

Another interesting piece is the one whose VSA-100 chips are arranged in cluster of four instead of forming a horizontal line. IIRC it was the card that was shown in 3dfx's initial publication of V5 6000, but eventually, the version that made it into production was the "horizontal line" version.

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

We don't know if the one with 8 fans has 8 VSAs underneath, or if they just had extra cooling for the RAM.

Well, I think I just had a moment of wishful thinking....

I was feeling really good about myself after scoring a Voodoo 5 5500 for £10.50.... the feelings died a bit after watching that vid as now my V5 seems very insignificant 😒

Too bad they cant slap 4 GPUs on a single card now. Wish my GTX 260 has 3 more chips on it, that would be freakin sweet.

HD5990. There are no other video cards.
