Excellent 🤣! 😀
Heh, I remember in days past, customers calling me for a RAM upgrade. I'd tell them where to go to purchase the RAM, and then gimme a call after they received it.
Most of the time I'd simply do a step-by-step over the phone to assist them with installing the RAM; of course, totally free of charge. But...
On several occasions they would absoultely refuse "I'M AFRAID I'LL SCREW SOMETHING UP!", and the like. I'd tell them; look, this is real easy, and if I come to your house for the 5 minutes (if that) to install it for you, you'll be charged for an hour of labor. Many of them had me actually do this <grin>.
Of other notable mention: I've also made money cleaning mice balls... couldn't persuade the customer(s) no-way/no-how that they could SOOOO easily do this themself!
