On some of my computers I have Everest installed which gives some detailed information about the memory, as well as other devices. Things like manufacturer and model are useful if the memory is rebranded. They haven't made a free version in some time and with newer hardware features are either unknown or blank. Since it's a windows program it doesn't work with any of my older systems either.

Are there any similar programs someone can recommend?
