Hi everyone,
Things have been moved to a new server. You should not notice any changes, but if you experience any *new* problems in the next day or two please note them here.
Yes, it’s my fault.

Ah, that's why it was off for a little bit earlier. Looks like a painless move
I was getting some "502 Bad Gateway" errors when I tried to view any threads, but it just occurred to me to clear out my old cookies, and that sorted it... I'm back up and running now.
When the site was offline earlier today, I decided to check out Vogons on the wayback engine. Unfortunately, I couldn't view any of the old messages. I wonder why this engine doesn't appear to be able to store them?
I’ve made an adjustment that should resolve 502 Bad Gateway errors for any other visitors even without clearing cookies.
@retro games 100: not sure which wayback machine you were using; waybackmachine.org has lots of stuff.
Yes, it’s my fault.
Ah ha! I was using (1), but now I am using (2)
(1) http://www.archive.org/web/web.php
(2) http://waybackmachine.org/
Using (1), I could not view the old archived messages from Vogons, but using (2) I can! 😀 Thanks!
Whoa. Just this second got the 502 bad gateway message.
I haven't noticed anything odd.
I have always struggled uploading files. I make sure the format and size are according to the rules, but it never fully uploads the files.
Sometimes it goes through after 5 or 10 attempts, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern...
Uh...I think my images linked to imageshack lost track of the server. 🙁

I don’t understand. You shouldn’t be hotlinking to any images on the vogons server; anything on ImageShack would be unaffected by any of the changes that were made in the last week.

Snover, this is what I see on my screen :
The sound blaster and win3.1 icon pics in my signature are hosted at different a different site - flickr. (I have just shifted my sound blaster post's pics to flickr. Too many of them to shift the other pics.)
Maybe something wrong with Imageshack itself?
I can still access and view my pics at imageshack, however.
*cough* smaller screenshots could have sufficed *cough*
Maybe go over the link you embed there, possibly you are hotlinking the image and imageshack tries to prevent that (they need to make some money after all).

Woops.. resized. 😁
Double checked imageshack. The links are still the same. I can still access my account, and no new messages or notices.

I meant that your way of linking the images might be wrong/something imageshack doesn't allow anymore from websites. You could give an example here in a
tag
Ok, here's the screen directly from my images' page @ imageshack :
I only copy the part from . My images are still exactly at the same site, including the number 7466 in the address of the image above.
ok, enough with the screenshots please. How about a straight example?
Just copy paste ALL of the links that imageshack gives in a post and to see whether all links misbehave and to give snover an example to work with if there si something wrong between vogons and imageshack

Something to do with "Domain Unregistered"?
