I thought the original CMI was ok.

What I REALLY want to see is a "de-make" of Escape from Monkey Island. I really hated to the core the keyboard/joypad interface in that game. It looked like a Lucasarts' decision for expanded profitabilty by simultaneous release on multiple platforms, and to avoid hassles in streamlining the controls for pc.

Anyway, let's see if we'll see this Classic Edition of CMI.

@Musically Inspired : Any chance of remaking EMI with classic point and click interface and a classic 2D look? Maybe you can put a word to the people at AGDI and/or Infamous Adventures? 😁

Why the hell ruin CMI's absolutely fantastic visuals?
They still look darn good, even today!

CMI is indeed beautiful, but this is a nice labour of love from fans as well. And it looks great! I can't wait to play it. Though, I suspect that LucasArts will slam the C&D hammer down on it eventually.

And to answer your question, Malik, AGDI works strictly Sierra and won't do LucasArts-related stuff. IA is a little more flexible but I still can't see them leaving the Sierra format. Though, both are big fans of LucasArts as well.
