Guillemot Maxi Gamer 3D is missing from my upload, so I hope somebody has a backup of that file. I will of course update my findings, when I find another file that is missing. A-Trend Helios 3D Driver CD is missing too (I am quick testing the different downloads to see if they are still there).

Guys I have now tested all the 3DFX driver multi upload links, and every link works (as in you can download the driver from it). Except for the two I have mentioned, so I believe with our combined hands and feet, and fingers out of our derrière , we can back them up. But other than , go get them and then please re upload them to our unofficial driver site, and yes. I will be uploading sooner or later a driver or two. But serious what about some of our Swedish members with BBB as their ISP should help out, and not just me. Who used to have BBB as my ISP. I just must point out, I am looking at a busy schedule for my own sake for the next unforeseeable future. Yeah, it is crazy. But at the same time, I must say I enjoy being so busy at the same time , and no I do not have any stress 😀 (yet).

I'm going to try to pull down all the files over the weekend.

MultiUpload doesn't seem to have any of the files any more (just the links to other mirrors, which of course are all dead too)... I managed to snag about 6 files before the links disappeared. How'd everyone else go?

The 3DFX 2 and 3000 has gone missing.. damn. But please mention the names. Cause it looks like something is going on, that I have no idea about...

Fuck , right now it looks like all my files has gone AWOL, and the so-called mirrors are linking only to files that are not there.. now I am getting worried..

It was shitty timing. I had just finished downloading the above, when I noticed that I couldn't download the Canopus Pure3D disk, then I couldn't download anything!

Guys, I am going to do a mass deletion of my uploads on multi upload, call it paranoia. But let us just say, I am not interested in getting my ass sued by the former Danish anti pirate group, now known as the copy right alliance, even though I did not have anything illegal uploaded. It is better to be safe than sorry.

The files are now gone. And us now see what is going to happen with multi upload , the next few weeks.

SquallStrife: yeah, you really are an awesome person. And I whoised the domain you registered. And it seems to me, that you used a good company to safe guard you from from people wanting to know your identity. But if you had bought it though godaddy, I would have recommended you to change it immediately cause godaddy supports SOPA, and PIPA.

Nice. Unfortunately I didn't download any of the 3dfx stuff, and only a selection of the SoundBlaster stuff. I was going to do it sometime this year, when I can start properly testing hardware again. It would be great if we can get all of this "lost stuff" on to SquallStrife's excellent VogonsDrivers website.

We can make a fair use claim to the driver software, but I think bundled games could spell some trouble...

Most likely the drivers themselves won't cause an issue (theoretically, a really uptight copyright holder could still enforce copyright if they wanted to), but bundled software most probably would be a problem. It's best to strip those files out before uploading anywhere so nobody gets hit with a lawsuit.

(Isn't that what I just said, albeit in not-so-many words? 🤣)

In any case, it's good advice. "Sega Rally" doesn't fit into the vintage driver category anyway! 😁

I love the effort that the community has put into filling the driver library. It's quickly becoming a fantastic resource!
