You sure it was not someone yanking the seller chain? Like they buy it and never pay?

Anyway on my end it says the listing ended, but says nothing about it selling.

Yep, insane. Look here at the "sold listings" search for it:

It would be common sense to think you'd make it an auction style listing, starting maybe at a nice round $10... and let the market decide it's value

Though some sellers, like the one above really have lost grips with reality

His auctions ended 😲

I must say again... I'm quite surprised by the final prices on _all_ cards. Especially when sold AS IS.

Did any Vogon's member bid/won?

Requests are also possible... /msg kixs

Bid = yes, win = no.
After € 50,- euro it really went nuts on those cards. 😐

The final prices are crazy yes... the S3 805 for instance, I normally see those cards sold at less than half that price! Nothing against the seller, looking at his other items he seems to have very interesting stuff, but looks like someone wanted these things really badly.

And an even better one, a game sold in an auction in ebay less than two weeks ago (you know, for such a rare game it seems that there are a lot of them on ebay 🤣 ):

I remember playing it back in the day. It wasn't the greatest game ever, but it was fun. Not hundreds of dollars fun, though.

Is a boxed but complete Matrox Mystique 220 worth $255AUD/$200USD 😲 !

If it's 4MB possibly? Those can't be too common. That was really the first 3D card with ok performance from Matrox.

Jegus, I know CC prices are out of control, but that's ridiculous. Looking up the Takky upgrade it looks like some cutting is required. Judging by the nonfunctional floppy drive, anyone wanna take a guess how badly he half-assed it? The missing rear panel is because it's had a PPC logic board stuffed into it, and no one's bothered to 3D print a replacement, unlike with the Mystic upgrade.

I hate that seller. Absolutely rude and they want way too much money. I wanted to buy a rear panel and HDD sled for my LC575. They wanted too much and got rude when I told them I wasn't ready to buy.
