Take a look at their other listings, most of their stuff is extremely overpriced.

Supposedly yes, but there's some potential legality in trying to sell them, and even then no one can seem to source the parts to actually produce one. It needs to be mass produced through an electronics assembly house and no one's paying for the minimum run of like 50-100 or so, even if they had the parts. We have a whole thread on it over here: Simmconn AWE64 Adapter

Looks like that nut job asking 9k for a voodoo3000 is now asking a much more respectfully 300$

http://m.ebay.com/itm/NEW-in-BOX-VINTAGE-Vood … 1%257Ciid%253A1

I know that's not really all to far overpriced and whatnot, just thought I'd post it. Funny how he was asking over 9k and come down to 300$

Its because it's in its original packaging! I'll just get on with that loan to afford it.

Normally when things are listed as in-stock and at $9,999 or some other nuts price, it is because they are actually out of stock. They don't want to lose their search rankings by being out of stock and not visible so they set a price no one will pay, get more stock and put it back to the normal price.

That said:

At least the shipping is free, right? 😵

I'll admit. That's one sweet dell, but way overpriced. For that price it better be absolutely maxed out and come with a P1110 monitor and an AT101 keyboard.

That's just ridiculous. It's not even sealed in the original box. And even if it was, It's still about $1300 overpriced. That seller is gouging on shipping as well. Even from Canada, there's no way that an AWE64 Gold with a SimConn and some RAM should cost $90 to ship to the USA.

That seller needs to be selling crack instead of retro electronics, because he's clearly using it. AWE64 Gold cards are uncommon, but not rare by any means. If you really need one, TaoBao is the place to go.

A few years back, I stopped bothering with AWE64 Gold cards. The regular, plain old AWE64 Value cards are 99% as good to my untrained ears, and also cost about 99% less.

Yes we have a dedicated thread for overpriced / stupidly expensive ebay items. This thread is supposed to be for cheap / abnormally low-priced items.
