Easily the most boring and underwhelming Macs around. The last interesting PC from the beige era was possibly the Power Mac G3 Server and even that was hugely inferior to the Blue & White model. Before that only the LCII is possibly worthy of attention because of its form factor and everything in between is just pre-Jobs irrelevance.

Well, i'm getting one today, hopefully working. Also, I honestly prefer pre-jobs apple. At least before he came back when they made a powerful computer they made something that was genuinely powerful. 3400c for example, that is an amazing notebook.

Speaking of old Apples:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-e-IIe-Enhanced- … %3D122538712322

I mean it's rare to come across something so complete but I could buy a really nice car for that.

thats actually common for these machines. A centris 660av is IDENTICAL to a quadra 660av, just a different sticker and price.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Not extremely overpriced, but still;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Abit-NF7-S-V2-0-nForc … BkAAOSwxVpXMY~7
This board and Abit AN7 are fairly often can be found at local markets, with dirt cheap price tag of course. "Best Socket 462 motherboard" statement is amusing too.

Look, I knew War of the Lance is a good game. In fact, it was my most favorite game in highschool, but is it really worth US $600?

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

Who wants to have extremely overpriced reference Radeon 7500? Most funny thing is that one of them was sold.

I forget how many years ago it was but ABIT socket A boards were pretty much free on ebay even with original boxes.

I have a Centris 660av, they were only sold for a couple months before Apple gave up that naming and made them all Quadras. So from a rarity standpoint the Centris sticker is nice to have. Oddly enough the 660AV is not valued very highly while the 840AV (granted with the fastest 40mhz 040 Apple ever sold) is pretty much unobtanium in working condition (I did have to recap my 660av).

Curious, but why are Abit boards going for so cheap on eBay? I thought they made some good boards.

Because Abit ceased to exist in 2008 (they had issues for years before that) so people dumped their boards in fear of no support?

That and one of their factory's in china was spiting out counterfeits. I bought a IX48 in 2010 even date coded on the PCB as being made in 2010. look real and ran grate. but we all know Abot went out in 2008, so yeah. I asked the seller if they had any other abit boards. Their reply, We can make (list of boards and price) for you.
