After the great success of Double Fine Adventure on Kickstarter another very interesting project is looking for funding - RPG Wasteland 2 from people that worked on Wasteland, Fallout 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale.

Saw this yesterday, never played Wasteland but Fallout 1 literally raised me. I first played it when I was 8 years old and it was one of the most terrifying and yet interesting games I had ever played, where your actions truly changed things in the world.
The design team is the same as the original apparently, but AFAIK they haven't worked on a serious game for years. And I also thought Fargo was a bit annoying in the video. Speaking about publishers who only want fast and mass marketed games, when he himself created Bard's Tale (2004).
Still, looking forward to this to some extent!
i plan to donate towards the end of the 30 days as i'm kind of broke atm. fallout was the spiritual predecessor to wasteland so there will be many similarity between the two but, ultimately it will be wasteland 2.
