Hi again everyone.

I hope I'm not beating a dead horse with this question, but does anyone know what upgrade kits came with cyrix/ibm/st cpus?

I already know that the Gainbery GB120 came with an IBM 5x86c 100, but I've heard rumors that the 133 versions were Cyrix chips (although I've seen information that seems to indicate that it could be AMD or Cyrix) and someone told me that Evergreen used Cyrix chips as well as AMD in their 133 upgrades... I'm lost on this.

Thanks for the link, swaaye. Did you read the part that says that the Gainbery uses the Cyrix 5x86, then at the bottom states that it's an AMD 5x86?

That's the stuff that has me confused... all I can figure is that they used both and you're rolling dice to get one or the other. There's gotta be a better way of knowing than simply guessing, though.

Has anyone dissected their upgrade kits to see exactly what CPUs were used? Or at least used CPUID or something like that.
