The HD was created with VMWare workstation 5.0.
It occupies 20GB of storage, now I want to shrink it up.
Does anyone know how to do this?
The button in the settings section is dimmed.
Thanks
Jack

I'd use winimage. first convert the hdd image to dynamic, thus shrinking it to the smallest size. then convert it to whatever size you want from there. Or just leave it at dynamic, that works too.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I've got another problem, the IP has finite lease time, the network sometimes cannot find this VM when the lease time expires. How do I have unlimited lease time in VMWare and FreeBSD guests?

I can solve vmware conversion problem with starwind.
Now, I've got a new challenge, I need to convert my local machine to a VMWare VM.
Can't do this with starwind, have to do it in VMWare Converter, however, I still got the "info.owner" problem.
