Since I've been playing a lot of Carmageddon lately (thanks GoG.com! 😀), I feel it's only fitting that I share some Fear Factory. 😁

Hehe, FearFactory- Demanufacture, brings back memories from when i was a youngster. At some point i listened to this album alot.

Anyway, i guess this thread allows for some self promotion, Ive been playing drums in various local Metal bands over the years.

The only one that got a little international coverage is Monarque.
Im not in the band anymore but Heres some footages from a gig we headlined ( Black christmas 2007 )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3FZeKp2ve0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BSBazaMQFw

I helped produce a "Demo" project with monarque an another dude.
( Played the drums and made the final mix )

Before that I had a band called TarasK. Its was some crazy shit, we would do live impros and compose pretty random brutal tunes. The band went down the drain when the lead guitarist went nuts. there is still a Myspace with some jam recordings and a live bootleg.
http://www.myspace.com/taraskqc

Last full band I played with was Worthless Sacrifice. At some point we had a killer line up and badass songs but it all went down the drain because of band member "issues" again...
There is still a myspace page with Drum Machine + guitar prototypes.
http://ca.myspace.com/worthlesssacrifice
There is also this crappy quality live bootleg left.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs2j9O_FMrU

The sad part is We actually recorded a full album with quite good quality but its never been mixed because the band fucked up and no one had any money to put on the project... I still have all the tracks, i may work on releasing it eventually...

Currently im in a project with a guitarist from WS, but we do not have a full line up or complete set so far.. Its called Aborgnon.

I've been a metalhead for 20+ years. The first album I bought was Judas Priest - Painkiller, 21 years ago.

dang, I'll be pushing 20 myself soon.

MaxWar: that's some pretty solid drumwork! Used to be all over this bleak ugly BM style at some point (still like it, just not as much as other stuff perhaps). Good luck with future endeavors and all.

<--- (*points at post count*) now why did I have to make this post here, of all threads??

Here's something that industrial and Amiga tracker music fans should get a kick out of 😁

It's quite amazing what the Amiga platform was capable of in its lifetime. Shame it was never nearly as popular over here in North America as it was in Europe. 🙁

What games with metal do you guys like? I was playing KISS Psycho Circus and thought of this thread. Never played it before - sweet game! Painkiller, Omikron, Crusader No Remorse/No Regret, and Doom come to mind too.

Is that the game with the soundtrack by machinae supremacy?
They were one of my favourite bands 😀
At least, their site releases were awesome. I'm not so much a fan of the cd's they released.

Recently I played through quake 2 and really enjoyed the soundtrack by Sonic Mayhem 😀

anyone played Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend? I haven't (it's console-only) but the soundtrack has some surprisingly impressive selections...

I like the tunes in every game Id has made.

Quake 4 really failed on this front.

Well Quake 1 had a cool intro but the rest of it was pretty lame. I'd rather play it with the quake 2 CD in the drive 😀

On a related note, Quake 3 had some pretty cool tracks by Front Line Assembly, especially the one on Q3DM3. It's a shame though that most of the maps on there had no music at all. 🤣

I also really liked the music on Unreal Tournament, though with the exception of a couple tracks ("Fire Breathe" and "Razorback") most of it was like techno/ambient. Still makes for awesome fragging music however! 😁

Remembered another game with some sweet metal

Not exactly the finest gameplay but I liked the music. 😁 It's not THAT bad of a game though.
