The whole Creative 3D Blaster Voodoo2 franchise did something weird to me.
I think it was a real magick job behind those cartoon shamans' eyes that does the trick -- done by a real shaman incarnate dressed in shirt and tie, somewhere in a marketing department office cubicle in Singapore. I have to admit as an unsuspecting thirteen year old I was vulnerable to this kind of attack. Recent psychic reading and clearing effort doesn't seem to be working on this one.

I still remember a magazine advertising of Logitech Wingman Extreme (gameport version). It is a two-parter ad, with part one showing various ACMs with caption, "maneuvers performed with Wingman Extreme", and the second part showing an ejecting pilot with caption, "maneuver performed with other joysticks."
Really, it is my most memorable hardware ad. Too bad I cannot find the scan. 🙁
