Sorry I am a bit late to this thread, but I had this software early in college and remember having such fond memories of it. I would love to buy a copy of it but seems impossible to find. I did go ahead and download it archive.org but does anyone remember if it came with a manual? I've been looking online for one and have had no luck.

Sorry, I am even later, and I have scans of the manual if you want them. I love GCS!!!

It's really great to see the efforts of finding Pie3DGCS games still ongoing.

Recently I've gotten back into the GCS and had to discover that despite backup efforts my GCS archive was lost 🙁

I've been searching for weeks now and have gotten a bunch of games back from various sources and people, but a couple are still missing.

Here's a short list of titles (mostly share-/freeware) that I had in my archive, but couldn't find again:

D-Day
Demon
Elapse
GCS Demo levels (different music)
GCS Xmas Demo
Outnumbered
Soren 3D
Stop Nick Macki
Wing Do

For these games I only have found a partial download. NvM crashes after level 1 and I couldn't get Earth Defender to start at all:

Earth Defender
North v. Memorial (Beta 2.0)

These are the games from the original missing list, that are still, well, missing:

Gangbusters Deluxe
Iraqi Scum-Bag
Martial Arts Warriors
Murk
Operation: One Level Quickie Demo
Operation Web
Power Booster 5000
Project Thunderbird
Realms of Evil
Return to Ghost Manor
Suburbia Squad
Zombie World

If anyone has some of the games on these lists or even games not mentioned here or in the starting post, I'd love to hear from you 😀
Thanks everyone for keeping the Pie in the Sky spirit alive 😁

While I'm still in the process of recovering games, I've been able to dig up a few previously unknown titles and some media:

The Violent Adventures of Gumby: https://web.archive.org/web/20011218072625/ht … ft/gva_pics.htm (screenshots)
Screenshots of North v. Memorial: https://web.archive.org/web/20011218073112/ht … ft/nvm_pics.htm

I've managed to re-recover "Demon", "Soren 3D" and "Wing Do", although the last one doesn't work with sound as some files are missing.

In Soren3D another title is shown with screenshots "Mortal Areas", info can be found here: https://ogdb.eu/index.php?section=title&titleid=917 but it seems to be lost for now

Another new game was discovered on a german cd: "John Westwood" a western style shooter (think outlaws in gcs3d), but unfortunately the author screwed up the installer and a bunch of essential files are missing. Only the first room works, which is a shame, because a lot of work seems to have been put into that one.

Here's an old website that mentions a couple of previously unknown titles: https://web.archive.org/web/19991011154907/ht … 07/3dgames.html
Ninjawars, Ninjawars 2 and Hallways of Brutality.

The logo of the lost game "Power Booster 5000" was recovered here: https://web.archive.org/web/19991001112456/ht … bros/games.html
Confirming that it's a 3DGCS game

Also the previously unknown game "Vitron" is on the previous website. Archive.org has some screenshots saved.

Three more previously unknown games can be found here: https://archive.org/details/barts3dactiongamescd
/B3DACT/DOS/3DSHOOT > unknown title
/B3DACT/DOS/EGGHUNT > Egg Hunt
/B3DACT/DOS/AVENGER > Avenger: the robots of sigma 7

There's still a bunch of stuff that can be found even today!

Hi all, been looking for a 3D GCS community and it was fantastic to come across this thread!

I've been looking for a boxed version of 3D GCS for quite a while but haven't had any luck. Would anyone know where one might be able to find a copy? I've been keeping an eye on Ebay but haven't seen a single listing.

I myself made a game in 3D GCS (the first version I think) called Squirt, which was a water gun type skirmish game that I distributed via bulletin boards back in the day. Had a lot of fun with it. I tried to dig it out recently and found one of the four 3.5" inch floppies is corrupted 🙁 Still hoping I can find a copy somewhere among my backups.

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place at all but is this one of the type of games you are looking for?

It's called:
Thundra: Alien Wackiness from the Future
https://archive.org/details/Thundra_201611

I was hoping to get some advice about running this title specifically, any help would be appreciated. If I'm in the wrong place I apologize.

Well, here's another one for your collection - the game I mention above - SQUIRT. I managed to locate it and still runs on Dosbox. This is the shareware version, I never ended up releasing the full version as I suffered a hard disk failure at the time where I lost much of the work, but now that I have this, I may just finish it off at some point. It was meant to be a shooter suitable for all ages featuring a water squirt-gun tournament with a number of different scenarios/levels.

You can download it from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eeyg0rhenzxdgzg/SQU … reware.zip?dl=0
