It's Doom. Mars is not in another galaxy. You are stationed on Mars prior to the invasion, you do travel to 2 moons though. The original manual did call some of the enemy aliens. Some spelling errors.

Actually, this description sounds like it's an adventure game, and I might add, it sounds like a description for a sci-fi text adventure game. The term "space traveller" seems to tone down the gore in the game. And the final sentence - "But be careful" - also adds to this "family-friendly" message.
