The terms "race" and "class" have been standard fare in fantasy and sci-fi games since the '70s, and their use in that context shouldn't be interpreted as racist or bearing ill-will. Context is everything. I think you already knew that, though. I suppose this IS the Milliways section.
So how about those master/slave jumpers, eh?
I remember when Everquest first came out, the different races in the game each had distinct advantages and disadvantages but after a few years most of those advantages/disadvantages had pretty much been rendered moot to the point of there not being any reason to have different races in the game at all. You could have a single playable race and it wouldn't have made any difference. Political correctness ruins everything it touches.
