Not a Survivor fan here, but try playing them through your computer and using a recent Shazam app on a smartphone/tablet/etc. to identify. Reason is that Shazam has recently started to identify television shows (to the episode) when listened to.

I probably won't be a lot of help, but I did watch all seasons and all survivor episodes up till last week's. The only time I can think of this type of music would play would be during the challenges where they had to catch pigs in a pen (this happened in two seasons if i'm right) or an episode where they had to catch chicken (1 season).

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately I don't own any of those devices.

OK... it's even more of a mystery as to exactly which CD that those MP3 files on that FTP site are from.

After Googling for I DON'T KNOW *HOW MANY* HOURS, I came across this (which I now *definitely* remember). From Survivor Season 24 "One World", Episode 11 "Never Say Die":

According to Russ Landau's Facebook fan page here -> https://www.facebook.com/russ.landau.music/info , the "Yodel Joe" song is track 24 on his "Out Takes" CD (released on May 6, 2008).

I also had a look at the CD track listing for his "Survivor One World Soundtrack" CD (released August on 25, 2012)

The thing is, there are only 28 tracks on the "Out Takes" CD, and only 27 tracks on the "Survivor One World Soundtrack" CD... yet at the above-linked FTP site ( ftp://ftp.wizworks.com/mp3/survivor ) there are *31* MP3 files. Not to mention, "Yodel Joe" is "12.mp3" at that MP3 site.

So... who the hell knows which CD that the MP3s are from, I sure don't 🤣! 😀
