Hello

recently my attention was drawn to a spare desktop computer and the constant dropouts she has over the wireless network.

I have two wireless adsl modems from telstra bigpond - a thomson and a technicolor.

on closer inspection using a wifi scanner there are a large number of networks around us using almost all channels.

one of my neighbors is using channel 7 and 11 and has a super strong signal - the signal is always excellent from our PC...more so than our own wireless network.

can anyone recommend a really quality and stable wireless adsl modem that will not drop out - dual band would be nice.

I just want rock solid internet from a couple of rooms in the house.

I still like Cisco/Linksys WRT54G series. It's old, but it's solid.
