Check out this cpu... a pentium processor with a blue heatsink?????

I have never seen anything like this before.... does it look OEM or something that someone modded?

Yeah I had a HP Vectra with a big green passive heatsink like that. OEM's avoiding moving parts at all cost I suppose - not a bad move, that Vectra was a tuff as nails.

Most OEM P60, P66 chips had a huge heatsink glued to them, when the case fan that blew air over the heatsink died so did the CPU (but those systems lasted a long time).

I think Heatsink and fan combo were popular with OEMs when they figured out that the systems would not be run for more then a few years before an upgrade (and warrenties were only 1 year anyway).
