I have treid installing the Yamaha driver it says that the driver is installed, but its not showing up.

The old S-YXG50/100 WDM driver will not work on any NT6. And the PVL (Poly-VL) part is only available for Windows 98/Me in VxD format (will not work on 2000/XP even).
You could have some success with the VST version of the S-YXG50. If the free driver doesn't work on Eight x64, which it might not, you could still use the VST via Yamaha MidRadio, Reaper, or another VST host to play MIDI files outside of games. I have had some success using Reaper in realtime, playing back the input from a generic MIDI loopback driver.
The VST is just a DLL, not a driver, and might load under any Windows OS.
