For long-time readers, Fabien Sanglard needs no introduction as the man who wrote those MASSIVE source code reviews of Doom, Quake, Quake II, etc.

His latest is on Strike Commander, where he reverse engineers the game in an attempt to add Oculus Rift support.

Awesome blog. Very interesting stuff about source codes. I again maintain my theory that would be awesome to have Wing Commnader with speed issues fixed.

And support for MT-32 and Sound Blaster for sound effects.

However seeing that the second mission pack has addressed the speed issues, it might be easier than one thinks?

Awesome, Strike Commander is always my favorite game and I hope he's successful.

I wonder if his works would result in a Gemini Gold equivalent of Strike Commander. 😀
