Hopefully! I like 5.25 though. Actually my 5.25 inch floppies have been more reliable for me than the 3.5 when i image them.

- A fifth Voodoo2 card (one exact copy of any of the four different I already have, just for SLI)
- A super socket 7 ATX MB with AGP
- A black 1.2MB 5.25" floppy
- Asus V3000, V3400, V7700 (64MB),
- 1GB AGP Radeon HD 3850 or 4xxx
- Working Seagate ST-157A HDD (
- Hercules display card and green or amber TTL CRT
- Sound Blaster Pro 2.0
- Voodoo5 AGP
- Creative/ Panasonic Interface CD-ROM

Almost all of them has their own practical purposes (i.e. will be used in my builds) and some has just sentimental value.

I've got everything I really want, all that's left is embellishing it with odds and ends that catch my eye from time to time.

Right now I'm agonising over a kyro or kyro2 card I will likely never use, and wondering about adapters and such [sd floppy replacements, sata adapters that kind of thing].

Keep your eyes open. I bought a 3D Prophet 4500 on eBay for $15 a while ago.

It's not worth agonizing over, though. The Kyro II is interesting, but not really suitable as a daily driver.

I see people wanting lots of stuff that i'm selling/sold recently. Perhaps a bit more dialog could get people what they need...
Right now my wishlist has only one thing: clear everything and keep only a maximum of 2 retro rigs for use and a couple of spare parts. And i really mean a couple. I need my space back and time to enjoy my old games. 😀

It feels odd to type this - but I don't have anything currently on the serious Wish List. Maybe the Roland Flue shot I take every Fall has something to do with it? Yes I would love to have a Quantum 3D Obsidian 'brick' but realistically there is nothing in the collectible crosshairs.

At a practical level though I could stand to have a few backup parts that I lack:

- Voodoo 2/12mb in case one of the SLI cards goes down
- Asus P3B-F or reasonable equivalent slot 1 mobo
- Abit VA6 or reasonable equivalent slot 1 mobo
- Biostar P4M890-M7-TE backup mobo
- P200/233 era Socket 7 mobo
- a couple of quality 300 watt-ish ATX PSUs

There you go - not very glamorous. Finishing the last of 5 long-term retro PC projects last Spring really calmed the whole retro hardware side of things..

I have no MIDI modules. None. I don't even know where to begin, since the obvious choices cost too much and scare me off.

Otherwise I'm just missing a shedload of games. Always have several dozen tabs open in Chrome for games I'm looking for.

Covox Sound Master replica (if we manage to finish the project);

Some of the stuff i added compared to my latest post is nearly impossible to find, but it deserves to be listed. Other stuff like the GM gear is added due to my move to the UK and me searching for more compact MIDI gear.

As for games Tyrian is not out of the list since i now own a nice mint copy.

Hello! Time for a little update!
After almost one year from posting on this topic, here's a list of the GRAPHICS CARDS that I am still looking for:

MUST have (the only "regular" chips missing in my collection):
- NEC/PowerVR PCX1 (Videologic Apocalypse 3D)
- SiS Xabre 600
- XGI Volari V8 DUO ULTRA
- Rendition Verite V1000L-P (Creative 3D Blaster PCI CT6260! or Canopus Total 3D or Miro Crystal VRX)
- Cirrus Logic CL-GD5480 (Alpine)
- Chromatic Research MPACT! 1

Would LOVE to have (but I know it's not gonna be easy...):
- Artist 3GA (NetVision 2200i)
- 3DLabs Gaming Glint aka GiGi (Creative 3D Blaster VLB CT 6200)
- Yamaha RPA YGV611/YGV612 (Paradise Tasmania 3D)

- Intel i752 AGP

NICE to have (I have the chip but I want a DIFFERENT card):
- NEC/PowerVR 2Series - PMX (Videologic Neon250 AGP!)
- nVidia NV1 (Diamond EDGE 3D 3400 4MB!)
- Rendition Verite V1000E (Sierra Screamin 3D, Intense 3D 100)
- NEC/PowerVR PCX2 + Tseng Labs ET6100 (Videologic Apocalypse 5D and 5D Sonic)
- 3D Labs Permedia III (Permedia 3 Create! AGP)
- Matrox Mystique 3D-accelerator (addon card)

- 3DFX Voodoo 4500 PCI (Best form MAC)
- 3DFX Voodoo 5500 PCI (Best form MAC)

VAPORWARE/Prototypes (Very low chances of getting but still hoping...):

- PowerVR Kyro IISE (Hercules 3D Prophet 4800)
- S3 Savage XP
- OAK Warp 5

- Rendition Verite V3300 / V4400
- PowerVR Kyro3
- Alliance Paladin
- Tseng ET6300
- Stellar PixelSquirt
- GigaPixel GP1/2

I must admit that 2014 was very lucky for me, I got a lot of interesting cards that one year ago I did not even dream about... Thanks to the POEPLE form this forum AND my friends all over the world who helped my find those cards with the help of my RetroGraphicsCards fanpage on facebook 😉

So here is what I think can be considered "rare" that I acquired in 2014:
- PowerVR Videologic Neon250 PCI (Germany)
- Nvidia NV1 [Diamond EDGE 3D] (Japan)
- Rendition Verite V1000E (Romania)
- SiS 300 (Spain)
- SiS Xabre 80 (Italy)
- Number Nine Revolution 3D (Russia)
- Number Nine Revolution IV (USA)
- Trident T64 (Croatia)
- XGI Volati V5 (Germany)
- ATI 3D Rage 1 (USA) - is this card that "rare" or collectors just do not care about it?

These seem like they are a dime a dozen. The original 8-bit version though... that's tougher (and a lot more $$$!).

Really ? I haven't seen PAS 16 really cheap, at least on ePay .
