It's the standard Sound Blaster Pro version 2 (with OPL3) with a Sony 34-pin CDROM interface.

Otherwise sounds and performs exactly the same as any other SB Pro version 2.

Why the different revision than?
As i see it has more jumpers. But otherwise it looks identical component wise.

Because the CT1600 has a Panasonic CDROM interface, not a Sony.

Fired it up in my PC today, absolutely 0 noise on output. Pretty damn amazing.
My PAS16 is noise machine compared to this cards OPL3.
