I have been looking everywhere for a downloadable link for xmosaic.
Forgot if that was free to download on the public domain or not.

It seems that the last version for Unix was 2.7b, and 3.0 was only released in Mac and Windows.
Go to the NCSA ftp to get latest Unix sources and binaries (although some distributions have their own packages).
I have traveled across the universe and through the years to find Her.
Sometimes going all the way is just a start...

Thanks, seems like it, I was still in college in 1995. I just vaguely remember I was using one of the versions of xmosaic.
Probably not 3.0, I remember the blue animated logo anyways,
also, just wondering which version can be run on Cygwin-X (windows 7) platform?
it seems there isn't a compliant version for Cygwin-X.
