Your long search is over. Although, I don't know if they ship to siberia. I bought one of these: http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pc-v2110/

Wow, that thing is a BEAST. I'm sure it is high quality, as Lian-Li tends to do, but great googly moogly is that thing huge. If they made something of that quality in a mid to mini tower I might be more interested.

It is sexxy however. 😎

If I remember right there's a V1000 or something like that which is a mid-tower version.

Quick check, its V1100:

They've got lots of other mid-towers as well.

I went through a similar search a few years ago - it's hard to find sensible, understated PC cases anymore. I ended up choosing a Supermicro SC732D4F-500, which is a very solid case with lots of internal space and zero bling. One of its nicer features is the external 3.5" drive bay, which is getting harder to find in contemporary cases. I still like to use a floppy drive in my systems and this one fits the bill perfectly. The case also features front-mounted FireWire, USB, and audio connectors, and it can accommodate full-length expansion cards and E-ATX motherboards.

The biggest problem I had was actually finding an SC732D4F for sale - not that many online retailers carry them, and you won't find them in brick and mortar stores. I ended up buying mine through these guys for a total of $179 with shipping, and they had to special-order it from Supermicro so it took about three weeks to arrive. But after I transferred my components into it I was totally satisfied and have been happy with it ever since.

Here's a pic of my rig:

That Supermicro looks like a good case!

What do you think about these? 😀

I've been looking for a new case for some time...I have a 2001 Chieftec case, it's mostly ok but I hate it only has 8cm fans when I could do with 2 12cm and not listen to the noise. Also why do most of these new cases have bottom mounted PSU? I never know which way to turn it (if it's down, the fan will have to suck air through the carpet and the case grill, while having it up changes case airflow and turns all the connectors around...).
