I'm not doing much better at the moment...

Both, thanks for the help..

I red the readme file that is on the same FTP:

P.E. Logic 'PEL-8xx Series 2.00 PEL800.SYS
8-bit' Host Adapter

To install an ASPI manager that isn't provided with this
software

1) Copy the ASPI manager from the disk provided with your
SCSI card to your hard drive.

2) Add the device driver line to the CONFIG.SYS file using
the following syntax:

DEVICE=C:\xxxx.SYS

where xxxx indicates the name of your ASPI manager.

3) Reboot the system before you start the installation.

While the system is rebooting, you should look for
status messages from the ASPI manager. If the status
indicates an unsuccessful installation, the device driver
won't function.

So far, an old corelSCSI that has PEL800.SYS

How did you find this?

How did you find this?

Google finds the readme file you mention.
https://www.google.com/search?num=100&s ... L800"+aspi

The readme file is the third result.
ftp://humboldt.sysbot.biologie.uni-muenchen.d … O.16/README.TXT

Take the URL of the readme file and truncate it a level.
ftp://humboldt.sysbot.biologie.uni-muenchen.d … Coreldrv_MO.16/

You could keep going up a level.
ftp://humboldt.sysbot.biologie.uni-muenchen.d … ivers/CDROMDRV/
ftp://humboldt.sysbot.biologie.uni-muenchen.de/drivers/
ftp://humboldt.sysbot.biologie.uni-muenchen.de/

Pretty simple. 😀
