I can't find any decent videos of this thing running on actual systems, with quality audio recording and I'd like to beable to hear this version's music really bad in proper quality without running it in a emulator.

If anyone here has a apple ii gs, is there a possibility of recording this theme song? Possibly even a youtube video?

According to the person posting the video, it is painfully slow even with a CPU accelerator. Music would only slow it down to the point of being unplayable. You're better off playing it under emulation on a more powerful system where you can control the emulation speed to get the full experience. It's too much for the original Apple hardware to handle.

I know about that video but the audio is being recorded though the microphone and the person recording doesn't wait for the title music to finish or loop over.

EDIT: To be specific I just want a quality recording of just the title screen's music.

Yeah, those CPU upgrades don't go cheap these days. Too rare. Memory expanders can still be obtained without breaking the bank, though.

And I can see why you would want to hear how the game sounds with the Ensoniq audio system built into the IIGS. 32 voices and it's own dedicated memory was pretty impressive for the time.

Here's a tech demo running on the IIGS that shows off what it can do. It's pretty clear that Apple was aiming the IIGS at the Amiga.
