Is there any way to know on which dificulty was a given SS2 save played? Sorry guys for dumb questions, it's just that I played the game a while ago, gotten a few levels in the game and don't want to start from the beginning, but I'd like to play on hard.
Been awhile but I think if you go into a save game and go into the options menu it will tell you what difficulty it's set to. Also, I'm not 100% certain, but I think you can adjust the difficulty mid-play.
The best way to tell is to look at the cost to perform upgrades to your stats and skills, as these costs are different at all four difficulty levels, going up the higher the skill level is.
