Discworld Noir

This happens in the Fallout universe-- finding Jet in places that had been sealed since long before Myron invented the stuff.

I whiled away many, many hours on this game back in '83-'84 on a Commodore 64, myself. Then later I played on a 286 laptop while a TSR would play .MOD files.

^^ Infocom's Suspended! Nice choice, one of the few classic text adventures that really nailed cyberpunk.

A winner is you!

It's a fantastic game, and it's got better graphics than anyone could ever imagine. Actually, the graphics are EXACTLY as good as you can imagine!

I pictured it being very austere and cold, like 2001: A Space Oddysey, and I didn't even think about how things looked aboveground. From the 'feelies' in the box I figured it hadn't originally all gone to hell, looking like Bladerunner or anything. Well, aside from the problems with the FC wreaking havoc up there 😀

(Dang, I wish I'd kept the box. In '99, I moved and I just didn't have the energy to take every single thing with me, and let some things go. Like the box with the 'mask', and the feelies and that neat dry-erase board map with the vinyl robot tokens. I'm an idiot for getting rid of it.)

Cool, I got a little into it a while ago but didn't have time to follow through. Should pick it back up one day. 😀

I gotta run out but here's a (hopefully) easy one to keep things moving. The soundtrack to this is glorious.

Graphics kind of remind me of Polybius on PS4, though I know that's not the game... hrm, I feel like I've seen this one before but I can't name it. 😕

Could have - it was kinda big news in the indie game scene when it was released in 2013. (That's a hint. 😀) It was initially a free game but you can now buy the 'Deluxe' version for a few bucks on Steam.

^^ what's your avi from BTW?

Mutation of J.B. (At first glance, I thought it MIGHT be Maniac Mansion!)

It's from Slayers.

Also, I'm gonna have to give that game a shot sometime. Seems pretty neat!
