So now we get a glimpse of Nvidia's mainstream offerings. No doubt the usual Nvidia claims of "faster than a 980" will be "faster than a 980 in one or two cherry-picked scenarios", but it's good to see AMD pushing Nvidia on price.

Well, except when you take into account the bullshit "Founders Edition" price hike. Nvidia really are taking the piss there. Not only are they inflating the price for what is essentially a reference card, the prices inflate even further due to launch demand, and even further still when they jack up the prices for countries outside of USA.

As always, WAIT FOR BENCHMARKS!
