I'd thought it be cool it we made a thread about stupid stuff people do with computers
Like putting playdoe on a voodoo 6000.

If you ever come by anything funny, stupid or odd that's done with a computer post it here.

^^ I've seen a lot of A1200 tower conversions but I gotta admit that one's pretty creative. 😁 If a bit low-effort.

I remember a site called "tech bucket", it was just a list of funny computer picture post.

There was that "rage" comic someone did, it was called "yesterday at the apple keynote" or something like this. It was just a comic about Steve Job presenting a full of flaw iphone, I remember it was in the time of broken antenna and the fault was given to the user handling the phone incorrectly. Also about a media writer that got banned from the keynote as they published leaked info about the phone. I start to think that it would be easier to re-do this comic myself from memory rather than search it. I beleive it was some of the rare OC of techbucket.

From my other thread. Seems appropriate here too.

This is the actual dialog box that comes up during a low level format. It never changes to a progress bar or anything useful. Also, the "Please Wait"s surrounded by exclamation points blink.

(It took about 3h per disk, and those would have been extremely fast disks for their time.)

I don't know what OS this is from, but somebody thought it would be nice if the help dialog had a character with some personality.
So they came up with this.

I think the word also means ace. And the web says Ace of Spades really translates to Pikass (ass in playing card games). 🤣

Some people may remember this guy from Letterman. A fairly humble dude who (for better or worse) got his 15 minutes of fame.
