SDK = Software Development Kit, i.e. in this case the software required to develop DirectX games for older versions of DirectX.

Ah okay, I think I was getting confused over "Redistributable" packages.

If I'm not mistaken, this is just a list of DirectX 9 SDKs though.
Which means they don't include documentation or samples for earlier versions of DirectX, and at least in later versions, they removed the headers and libraries for older versions of DirectX altogether.
So I guess what I'm saying is that the above list is not an exhaustive list of DirectX SDKs.

I have made my own 'legacy SDK', where I tried to find the most up-to-date documentation, samples, headers and libraries for each version of DirectX ever released.

is there a similar overview of old platform sdks and ddks??

If you try to re-read the first post - the list include "I not have those" versions only. 23 "I have" SDK versions (from 6.1 to Jun 2010) can be downloaded through the magnet link. Or (some) from the MS site.
IIRC versions 1.0 - 6.0 were distributed on CDs only.

Even if it did, I think for clarity it would be good to point out that there are more SDKs than the ones in this list.
